one of the perks of writing a story for a long time is getting to read back on the things you wrote earlier on and viscerally cringe at how horrifyingly bad your writing was. like I read my earlier chapters and sometimes wanna hit younger me for being THAT inconsistent & having the worst dialogue known to man. like I wanna apologise for her—

so I was on pintrest bored today and stumbled across one of those ‘you won’t remember these things unless you grew up in the 2010’s’ posts and when I tell you the amount of comments I saw from kids saying they were born in like 2014, or 13 or 11 and related to it too. like why are you typing coherent sentences??? then I remember how I used to be on kik and youtube at like 9 and that shuts me up real quick
