    i hate to say it— but he is blind. it’s hard enough navigating the school let alone trying to get potions right. you have to respect his tenacity. ( . . . ) if you’d like, i could always help you.

well…you’re…— you’re too kind, really. who knows, maybe this could teach you something useful…or not.

   hm ? . . . ( her eyes squinted at the other’s statement. it had been a while since someone asked her that. ) well, we spent a lot of time together. talking, walking, — i showed him my dorm and such. eventually we spent a lot of time in my dorm room and at some point we kissed. . . heh, it was actually pretty nice.

            niko’s hands went up to cover his forehead once beatrice had flicked it , a frown on his face as he listened to her . he shifted on his feet as his hands came down again , “ same thing . “ he mumbled , “ how did you and ominis end up going out anyways ? maybe i can take some pointers or something .. “

sorry — but i- hey  ( the girl was quick to flick niko on his temple. ) don’t start thinking like that. he made [ you ] a potion— that has to mean something. especially if he gets frazzled around you. not saying get your hopes up, but you can be confident. 

     hey— i guess that’s half true. at least this is the only place i can explore the things i like. even if it tends to…explode.

            niko would try and tilt his head when garreth turned away to keep his gaze , but gave up after the third attempt , “ we’ll have each other to bring back our energy then .. i have yet to see you without that smile on your face . “ he lightly poked his cheek . 

   i have to— at times. i’m not always this charming. i’m glad we both feel the same way, sometimes hogwarts can suck the life out of you, y’know ? ( garreth on the other hand was trying to save face. ever now and again he’d look away to hide the pale pink on his face. it wasn’t something he wanted niko to see. )

               i do have a few classes. one of which i should head to soon. — there is logic in most things. then again i know what it’s like to be lost ‘here. it isnt fun at all.
