ugh going through a similar situation myself. my best friend just got out of this toxic relationship with this guy that never liked me in the first place and told her i had a crush on her (which i didn’t, i’m as straight as they come) and i listened in on their phone call in which she broke up with him which he was basically trying to manipulate her into staying with him- luckily me and our other friend talked her off the ledge but omg hate gaslighters / manipulators !!! hate them all !!!! (anyways sorry this turned into a full-fledged rant, i apologize)
