You find yourself in the library of a great mansion. You look around, amazed by the shelves upon shelves of at least 2000 books. A flickering candle flame catches your attention, and you turn to see a young man sitting at an old desk with a single lit candle, hunched over papers. He mumbles unintelligibly to himself. You lean over his shoulder and see that he is writing a story. A story that is very well written, possibly as good as C. S. Lewis or J. K. Rowling. Yet, it is a story that seems to have driven him mad... He runs a pale hand through his raven hair, then writes another paragraph, not noticing you.

"Pardon me?"

A quiet, female voice makes you jump. You spin around to face a small, wiry young woman. She holds a feather duster and is dressed in a traditional French maid's outfit. She speaks with a thick French accent. "Bonjour! I am Roxanne, Mr. Spencer's house maid. I take care of everything around here since he...went...well, mad." She shrugs slowly. "Mr. Spencer normally stops writing around 12:30 am...which is right now!"

Spencer coughs, then sets his pencil on the desk.He rubs his forehead and grunts, standing up. He eyes you curiously. "Who's this, Roxanne?" he asks gruffly.
