I have more time to come up with ideas than to pursue them
          
          Anyway—Here me out:
          
          Inverted KNY AU. Demons aren’t bad here. They’re just misunderstood. The Demon Slayer Corps kills them thinking they’re bad people when they really just want to get along with them.
          
          They’re seen as bad people because the first demon Muzan ever created was the only bad one. He killed people and convinced some other demons Muzan made to kill as well. Demons don’t need to survive on blood here— just meat. Muzan found and killed the bad demons but by the time the Demons Slayer Corps came to existence, they killed the demons that were actually innocent. Muzan only turns people that he sees lives are at risk of dying, and people who willingly want to become demons (with good intentions)
          
          Tanjiro’s family was killed by one of the bad demons that escaped Muzan’s control, and Nezuko was turned into one. Instead of being found by Giyuu, Akaza found Tanjiro. He told him about their situation and how he wanted to help. Tanjiro and Nezuko join the Corps but they secretly want to help demons be seen as good people again.
          
          
          Ehh it’s an idea that I had. A wip, but what do y’all think?
