Hi, hope everyone is okay. To start I'm sorry that i've vanished for so long. I've been rlly busy. Anyeay i won't lie and say i will be back regularly but i haven't given up on my book. I've actually had lots of ideas for it. Right now although i have an established plot i feel it's dragging. I want to give the book a bit of a makeover. Plus i would like opinions on what people think. If you have a favourite trope or smth you die for in books i can see if i can include it. I am also thinking of turning my main character into a villain that isn't redeemed. I feel you may have to trust on this. But the vision is a strong FMC who isn't apologetic, makes everyone pay, a slow descent where the reader can connect amd understand with her even if they don't agree. She isn't heartless but made into someone who won't let herself feel. And it may not have a fairytale ending but not necessarily sad either. Idk it's just been an idea floating around in my head. I would loveeeeee feedback :)

@AnnaMansen That's the kind of thing I was thinking of. Plus going through a type of 'you turned me into this and now you can deal with the consquences'. I don't want to turn the reader away but kind of make her relatable. I feel there is a lot of male villains that people love and can get away with anything. I don't want that exactly. I think people should be able to travel along her journey with her, understand her and respect her. She will be driven by revenge and maybe save everyone in the process. Teaming up with a rebellion is also an idea i have been thinking of.

@8writerandreader8 Sounds like a good plan. Most people around her now are, after all, a bit arrogant and bossy with her, so considering that, it would make sense to turn her against them without risking the reader disliking her. Especially if it is to defend the defenseless, like animals or a small, mistreated, rebellious group. If it ties to something in her background as well, she can definitely be likable/relatable even if she might go a bit overboard. :)

@8writerandreader8 Sounds good. The hunting incident when she was upset over the Sylvarax comes to mind. Maybe a "none of you deserve this world” kind of arc? Make Ali team up with the forest itself or something, which wouldn’t take much work on changing the first chapters, but that's up to you. That would make her a likable villain, if that is what you want to create. I would enjoy that type of story. Teaming up with a small rebellion group might work too... :)
