ANAtheCowgirl is well-known for writing unconventional and explicit Tagalog-English romances about morally-gray characters. But if her novels will be examined closely, they are more plot-driven than character-driven and their themes are more than just romance. To put it simply, she just writes whatever she feels like writing and puts most of them under General Fiction to make it easier to categorize. And the stories that she feels like writing are those that, she believes, has an interesting plot and relevant message to share to its readers.

Her books are published in print under Pink & Purple (Bookware's imprint), LIB, and Red Room; and some of her online stories are under Wattpad Paid Stories Program. ANAtheCowgirl is also a recipient of Wattys 2018 - The Storysmiths award (Alfred Sin), Wattys 2019 - New Adult award (Rough), and Wattys 2022 - Romance award (The Test).

Aside from writing, she works as a project-based editor.
