Welcome to the jungle, leave your pants at the door.

My favorite genre to write in/read has always been horror because it's often the most 'out there'. The excitement that maybe, just maaaayyybeee the next story I read will make me feel anything at all keeps me tied to this style.

I hate to admit, but I do have kind of a weak spot for settings based in school like Harry Potter's Hogwarts. I had a shitty High School experience like most of us, and so reliving it through someone else's eyes is embarrassingly enjoyable. I also get uncontrollably addicted to the weirdest things. Less than a year ago I went on a non-stop original pokemon anime/game spree that lasted a full week and ended with tears in my pillow. Jesus.

If I stop by your profile and leave a comment that seems rude, don't worry about it.... I write the most after drinking half a bottle of gin and I think the liquor has a lot to say. Know that if I commented at all, it means I liked it.

And most of all, keep writing! If it sucks, no one will read it anyway, but if you're on to something good, get that shit out there. We need more of that.

And if I'm ever stuck trying to make a decision, I just remember one of my favorite quotes: "When I can't decide what to do, do what seems the most fun."

Here's a pretty cool reading someone did of "A Change in Seasons": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvtkpt8UDy8 They really put a lot of work into it with the music which is nice.
