Have any of you ever started a book with the intention of the story line going a certain way, then once you get into writing, and it starts going in a completely different direction?

Yes..I'm still trying to figure out if I should go back and re-write or leave it as is. It's just taking me so long to get to the point I was originally supposed to be at. It's still happening just a twist or so different..lol thank you all for the comments, I don't feel so alone in my mishaps anymore lol. You're all awesome.

@AReyes779 almost always. Sometimes I don't really figure out what a book is actually about until I'm like 50 pages in lol. Then I have to go back and do rewrites.
