I'm a bit late on this, but wanted to let you all know "The Dark Arts of Love" was updated last week :D
A couple of things - previously, I had different chapters 2 and 3 for the story that were about 1000 words each - those have now been put together and make up chapter 2, while the current chapter 3 is a completely new chapter. Along with that, a prologue was also added.

@ATellingMind Aye! I'm no Stephen King or Alfred Hitchcock: the Master of Suspense but I love a good horror now and again. It actually dawned on me during October because as I've said in prior notifications it's based on my childhood. I lost a doll when the fierce wind took it away ( talk about weather, right now where I am it's windy, don't know if it's the same in the Bay Area) and the doll probably dropped near some railroad tracks that I never saw again. Another moment ... when I was hospitalized at age 7, I was wheeled in a wheelchair by my aunts in a children's ward. And there was a display case of dolls around the world. I deeply remember one that gave me the creeps. And I was a cranky and sometimes demanding hospital patient. Could you blame me? I went through so many tests, examinations, chemo. and the 'whole 9 yards' that I tend to humor myself than to look back at the neg. stuff. Something some people can't figure out ... and so "I'm Miss Weird". What else is new? LOL!

Plus I have anew horror /paranormal story out ... Piper and I can't put that on hold. ... Think like the movies Annabelle and Chucky ... trying to see if I can also write scary stories as I once did for my cousins who annoyed me. Lol!
