Hi everyone! I'm looking for a story I read a while ago and would really love to find again. Here's everything I remember about the story:
The male lead is the king of Rajasthan.
The female lead is mute and has a slightly damaged face, which happened because of her father’s abuse.
In the early chapters, she always wears a hood to hide her face.
Her father despises her deeply, and she faces a lot of mistreatment at home.
The male lead marries her for revenge, not knowing she is mute. Later, he discovers the truth.
The male lead initially has a girlfriend who is not a good person—she tortures the female lead emotionally.
The male lead also mistreats the female lead at the beginning.
At one point, the female lead slaps the male lead, and as punishment, he drops her back at her abusive home.
Her father then sells her to a red light area, where she is forced to become a dancer.
After some time, while the male lead is about to get engaged to his girlfriend, the female lead returns—now a dancer, veiled during her performance.
The male lead recognizes her during the dance despite her disguise, and after that, he brings her back home.
Later on, the female lead goes to Mumbai with her brother and undergoes plastic surgery.
There are also two second lead couples in the story:
1. The male lead’s brother and the male lead’s best friend’s sister.
2. The male lead’s best friend and the male lead’s sister.
If anyone knows the title of this story, please let me know! I’d be so grateful for any help.
