Yo did anyone see the Batman 2021 trailer? The hype is real. Any DC fans here?

I'm working on a fictional narrative of Muslim scholar Ibn Battuta's life, coz the guy travelled more than Marco-goddam-Polo. The first chapter is a description of the dream he had that prompted him to travel.
          That being said: Is starting a novel by writing a dream cliched?
