Hey guys! Hope everyone is staying safe and well during this very stressful time. <3 
          
          So, two things I want to discuss here really quick:
          
          - Due to Rowling's recent comments, I will no longer support any future books/films that arise. She'll be rich forever, sure, but it's the principle. You can't imagine how disappointed and bewildered I am by this revelation. I will, however, continue to love the Wizarding community and its complex characters a lot of us have come to know and adore. If you don't care for that, you still have my respect regardless. 
          
          ***I wholly disagree with her opinion either way. Whatever you identify as, know that you are loved and I see you for the person you are. You are human and deserve to be treated fairly.*** 
          
          Personally, I feel we fans have morphed the series into a wonderful place to escape from the many hurdles life manages to throw at us. It's ours. The Potter universe has brought me through very bad times and it's had an impact on my life. Not the author. She can't take that away despite whatever views she has.
          
          - Second, I'm working two jobs at the moment, but will still write whenever possible. Honestly, my patience for this site is waning thin. It's turned in a different direction than I anticipated. I'm glad great writers are getting recognition they deserve and WP is fine on some things  #prideatwattpad for example), but I feel the novice writers are still overshadowed, along with hidden gems that are overlooked by paid promo on the home page. Just saying. tl;dr, I may publish 1-3 more works before moving on. Sites like A03 add flexibility, imo, despite centering less on reviews I like that there is no 'popularity' contest. 
          
          Thanks for reading this far and for all the support.  WP has been my favorite place to hang out, but in recent years features that once made this site good are gone (no offline reading for mobile readers, losing work, etc.) and I'm no longer motivated to write as much.
