Adam Mayle is a novelist, an author of numerous non-fiction articles and essays, and a recipient of the 2007 Human Condition Award. Fidel Castro once gave him bottles of rum and boxes of cigars. He was nearly eaten by vampires in Poland. He accomplished a life-long aspiration of slapping Bono. "Fishtown" is his second novel.
