Why doesn't anyone write a twist on 'married to the devil' trope? It would be so amazing to read about a girl refusing to accept the abuse, filing for divorce but struggling because her husband is so powerful (and maybe fall for her husband's brother who was also abused by him). Extra points if the husband isn't core evil but ill tempered and loves the wife but has a poor way of showing it.
