"Yes." He replied simply, addressing both questions as once. "Fortunately for me, I was out on a task while the Disaster happened." He explained a little more. "All of those that where caught in the destruction where ripped from their bodies, force to become revenants roaming between worlds."

He swung a little higher before asking his own question, although not an unsurprising one. "What brings you to Town?" He'd ask, knowing very few beings would charge blindly into a blackened town.

Lazarus gave a slight shrug. "Define alone." Rather than waiting; he'd give two definitions. "If You mean physically alone, then yes. I do not have any companions in the town. And any stray animals have since ran off or passed on." He said, his tone emotionless. "Spiritually, I am constantly surrounded. The spirits that once inhabited the town remain as ghosts. Some times they follow me, other times they simply wail in torment. Most of the time, however, they remain in the spirit world."

As he'd finished explaining, he would kick off the ground, swinging a bit higher than before. "This town used to be flourishing with population. There was no crime. There was no hate. Heck. We didn't even have a jail or sheriff." He'd say with a laugh.

With a small shrug he casually led Senka through the gate to the park, bringing his arm off her shoulder and sitting on the swing on the right. The pushed off the ground lazily, watching Senka. After a moment his gaze would rise to the black cloud that was his home. No matter how many times he left and returned, the sight would always amaze him.

"Sight is a virtue." He replied, admiring her ebony hair. If her shirt was not tight fitting, the pressure from his right arm would have pulled the back down slightly, allowing Lazarus to see the red tattoo's on her neck. "Care for a swing? They're only a little squeaky." He said with a laugh.

The longer they walked away from the town the more clear the air became. Soon it would be possible to see Lazarus' arm around Senka's shoulders. "I'd love to see you play poker in the dark." He replied sarcastically. As the air became more clear, one would see various benches surrounding the area. Behind a pair of them would be a small deserted park.

"I'd love to. Not here, though." He'd motion around to the blackness. "As you can - or cannot - see, Playing card games here isn't the easiest. Although i'm sure it could be done with some practice. Maybe." He stayed quiet for a short moment. In this moment, the woman would say her name. "Senka? Hhm. Pretty." He'd state. Almost out of the town, the darkness would 'lighten up' a bit, allowing very slight vision. By this point, Lazarus had hoped that she knew he was leading them out of the village.

"If you enjoy losing a large amount of money and having a small chance to gain an even bigger amount." He replied. Drawing his right hand from his pocket he'd hook it around the girl's shoulders before beginning to walk. "It's a simple card game, really." he continued on. "But it takes quite a while to master. It's all about chance." He paused afterwards. "I don't believe we've said our names yet. Mines Lazarus." He stated. He'd guess she'd provide hers, but would understand if she didn't.

Lazarus thought for a moment. "Well; lets see. I live in a deserted town. I can walk in pure blackness. And I just become an acquaintance to a fine young lady." He shrugged. "I'm sure there's more interesting people than that." He replied smirking. He wasn't quite done yet, though.

"I also play a mean poker game." He said with a laugh.

Lazarus gave an invisible shrug, almost disappointed. "In time i'm sure that'll change." He murmured. "Looking for interesting people like me?" He mused, "I'm sure there are far more interesting people than I. And people that play far funner games than I as well." He replied with a soft laugh.

"Maybe next time i'll be the Cat." He replied, thinking about the fun they could have in such an empty town. Afterall, there where many places they could hide. Who knows, he could help teach her the town. Noticing his hand was still on her back he slowly released her, moving his hands back into their pockets casually.

"So. What brings you around?" He asked, still smirking.
