Alexander Dark was born in Canada but spent his early years living in Deutschland and was exposed early to many cultures and historical locations. Giving him a unique perspective compared to most of his contemporaries when he returned to Canada.

His Education is based around History, Archeology and Computers which allows him a lot of sources to draw ideas from when it comes to his writing. Is avid World War II enthusiast with an expansive personal library dedicated to that time period.

He has traveled extensively and experienced many unique experiences such as standing on the edge of an active volcano, touring the trenches and beach fortifications in France, explored Castles in Europe and dove a sunken World War II ship.

Alexander has also experienced an arrange of hardships in his life, serious injuries, divorce and even the death of his beloved Fiance and soulmate. He feels he has several emotional sources to draw upon for his creativity in writing.

His reading tastes cover the entire spectrum, but his favorites are fantasy, sci-fi and alternative history style stories. He is also a fan of Starwars, Startrek and several other fictional universes.

Some of his favorite authors are: Raymond Feist, Michael Stackpole, David Drake, David Weber, Douglas Adams, David Gemmell, George R.R. Martin &  Conn Iggulden.

His original writing adventures took place in the medium of comicbooks, but flaky and uncommitted artist resulted in a failure to produce or publish anything. As a result of this failure, Alexander switched recently to story and novel writing.
