Hi, my name's Alivia. And I'm probably certifiably insane. I mean, I have to be, I write books for a living for crying out loud! Hearing voices in my head is supposed to be a good thing, right? Imitating battle scenes in my living room before writing it out has to be useful somehow, I guess...

Ever since I was in Middle School and well into early High School, I developed a love of writing through fan-fiction and RPG forums, especially the alternate-universe Harry Potter ones. Becoming an author was one of those things I always wanted, but never spoke up because of parental resistance. (You know, Dad says go to college, Mom says make jewelry instead... that stuff.) 

After I graduated in 2009, I hit a roadblock. Nearly two years passed before I finally finished my first novel, Illumine, and I've never looked back since. When I'm not writing, I'm probably baking, or sleeping. Or both at the same time.
