Hello everyone! I know it's been a while since my last update because I've been writing as slowly as a snail D: After scrapping my current chapter when I passed the 800 wordcount mark and starting all over again, I'm currently at 1543 words with a ways more to go! Might turn out to be a 2k chapter next.
How has everyone been? I hope you all have been keeping well. Here, I'd like to say thank you to my new readers and followers! Me? It's the same old news, I've been busy with work and been trying to write when my brain is not too tired. Gone are the halcyon days when I used to post a chapter a week.
Which brings me to Watty's. Are you submitting this year? I was kind of intrigued by the ongoing category, because that would mean I didn't have to rush to complete Fox Princess to make the deadline which is now in August (seems to get earlier and earlier every year). However, looking at my work commitments and how slowly I write these days, I'm not certain I can churn out a chapter a week to meet the requirements.
I'll see what I can do, but I won't sweat it like the last year when I burned myself out rewriting and editing Princess Snow to make the Watty's deadline. Quality over quantity, aye?
