          There are many issues going on in the world today, but we want to acknowledge the police brutality that is going on in America against the black community. There has been a wave of protests going on amidst the murder of George Floyd. A white police officer pinned him on the ground with his knee pressed against Floyd’s neck until he died from lack of air support. Despite his pleas that he couldn’t breathe, the officer, including 3 others ignored his cries for help. The officer went home without being arrested for the murder of Mr. Floyd, and with this, a strike of outrage surged all across America. 
          
          Even though our platform is small, we want to take a stand against this injustice and support our black community as much as we can. This issue has been rooted in American history from years of African American oppression and it isn’t something that happened overnight. There has been many murders just like George Floyd’s that happened to the black community and they were not given justice for it, but that needs to end now. 
          
          Please sign petitions, donate, spread the word, and stand up for what it right.

          Here’s some important news! We’ve recently updated our story commission rules, so please re-read our Rules/Infomation chapter located in our Story Entry Shop book!
          
          In other news, we will officially open our weekly story commissions very soon so stay tuned for more updates!!!
          
          Also, here is some news regarding staff applications! We’ve recently re-opened our staff applications, but unfortunately, there are no more additional positions for writers at the time being. Thankfully, there are still a few job positions available for Graphic Artist, Admins, and Leaders. Sign up if you’re interested, but do it quickly. We will be closing applications again very soon!!!

          Yay! Staff application submissions have finally concluded! Congratulations to our new staff members!!! We are more than proud to have you guys on our team! Recently, we’ve sent out emails to applicants which states who were and who weren’t selected to join our staff. If you applied, please check your inboxes and return a quick response. The quicker this is done, the sooner we can send accepted applicants further information! Again, congratulations for joining our Amaryllis family!!!
