It has been so long since I read The Alchemists. It was the book that broke me into that kind of fantasy writing. I don't know if you'd call it  magical realism or what...
          
          I don't remember what really happened in it. Did he ever make it to where he was going? All I really remember was the part where he turned into the wind. That part really captivated me. The rest, I was so confused and unfamiliar with that I couldn't really process it.

I just wish I could remember anything more than the wind thing. I remember he was a shepherd. That's it. Was he Muslim? Was it about a pilgrimage to Mecca?
