If you could chance one thing about the end of Ashs journey on Pokemon what would be ?
@Amourfan18 not one thing, there are things that I would change for Ash's final leg of his journey, I feel like ABPM didn't do justice to Ash's ending and it really wasn't an epilogue to his journey, maybe they left the door open to bring him back as the MC of Pokémon in case Horizons doesn't do well and fail, but for now, as things with Horizons are standing now, it isn't failing, it's the opposite of fail, it's successful, and going steady, but whether or not the events of AMBPM were left as an open door for Ash return or not, again it felt lackluster, and it wasn't the end that Ash deserved, if I could sum up ABPM in one word, that word would be nostalgia, we didn't see any other travelling companion other than Brock and Misty, Cilan doesn't count, as his appearance only lasted for like 5 seconds, what was the point of bringing Latias into the story, if the buildup of Latias' story wouldn't even lead to an eventual catching of the Pokémon, rechallenging all of the Leagues he previously participated in and really test his strength as a World Champion, I mean how can a recently crowned World Champion lose to a trainer whose a gym leader and nothing else, seeing Ash and the others finally grow up and settle with either Serena, any other PokéGirl or a random girl, and since we are in the route of aging the main character up and making them grow up, I hope that The Pokémon Company isn't thinking of taking the same route with Liko, Roy and Dot, with Sprigatito's recent evolution into Floragato, it seems like the producer of Horizons aren't taking the same route with Liko, Roy and Dot as they did with Ash, because Ash didn't have character growth at all, Ash started to have proper character growth in Diamond & Pearl and in XY/XY&Z then he deaged in Sun & Moon, so yeah, like other's have mentioned, there's a lot of things that should've happened in APBM
I wish Serena either never left Ash or they reunited and ended their journey together. And of course that they literally get together too. Which is basically what happens in my fic lol.
@Amourfan18 Seeing Ash finally grow up and marry someone anyone but Expect for Dawn, I never liked her. But also, to stop this over de-aging shit with how they keep trying to turn back the time and make him look like a kid when it's been years, so honestly if I could change one thing, just let him grow up and he finally reached his goal and as the series ends as one door closes on one's journey like's ash's let his kid being the one going off to make his own adventure and giving Jessie and James a happy ending too I think they deserve to end with a happy ending too and maybe admit their feelings for each other.

@Amourfan18 goodbye indeed, but Ash didn't deserve this kind of ending at all, and you know very well why i'am saying this, we didn't get answers on so many questions, like who his dad is and where he's been all this time, if he has any siblings or cousin, what the famous kiss in the Lumiose City Airport meant, you know what i'am saying?
