Anna Cole

Hey! My name's Anna and I'm 17 years old. I am currently at college and one of the A levels I am doing is A level Creative writing! This means that I may post quite a few short stories that I have written in class or for homework. I have always liked writing stories, I guess, mainly because, like reading, it helps me to escape from my normal life, yet with writing you can shape the world that you visit, rather than visiting someone else's. As I just mentioned, I also enjoy reading as well and have been doing it for fun ever since I gained the ability to - from shampoo bottles to road signs at first! 
'Falling in Love' is the "short" story (mine wasn't really that short!) that we were required to write for one of our GCSE English Language controlled assessments last autumn. Writing this novella really re-awakened my love for creative writing, and then that new college course caught my eye and it all seemed to fall into place! I have also posted the novel I started writing a couple of years ago, which, hopefully, I can finish this time. I hope everyone who chooses to read my stories feels the escapism that I do when I write them!
