So uh I guess I turn 19 today

Yeah so I’m not going to finish Dust and Ashes…
          
          If anyone wants to know how it ends you can DM me and I’ll tell you what I had in mind. And I probably won’t finish the rewritten Smoke and Fire, at least for a long while.

I’ve decided, after a long while, to get back into writing. Like, actually writing, not just dropping a chapter every few months. Except I won’t be working on S&F, D&A, or the S&F rewrite. I’m making my own original story with my original OCs. I’ll be planning and writing everything down before I even start the first chapter, so I won’t publish anything for a while, but basically here’s what I want it to include so far:
          
          -LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and AAPI representation, but the story will NOT center around these themes as I do not identify with either of these.
          -Romance. I’d like enemies-to-lovers, but I’m not entirely sure what will happen yet.
          -A far-off kingdom in a fantasy world, and I’ll even draw a map ;)
          -I will be basing my characters’ traits off of the zodiac signs, and hopefully I can have a character for each sign.
          -By the looks of things, this will become a series of books instead of a stand-alone story. I have so much that I want to happen and not enough patience to fit it all into one book.

I know I need to update and I promise it’s coming, I already wrote half a chapter for Dust & Ashes, and I’m almost finished with the Smoke & Fire rewrite first chapter.

I’m currently dog sitting my sister’s boyfriend’s German Shepard puppy against my will, so that brings us to a total of... *drumroll*...6 dogs in my house :)

I absolutely, wholeheartedly hate what I’ve written so far for Dust & Ashes, but I just want to finish the book so it’s not looming over me forever

How tf do I get rid of writers block that has lasted like a year and a half 

Should I update Dust & Ashes or the Smoke & Fire rewritten version?
