>Is Anubis your real name?
Anubis is the pen name that I write under. No, it is not from House of Anubis. I am just really into all kinds of mythology. 

>How old are you/What do you do when you aren't writing?
I am currently 19, as of November 2017. I am a full time college student and I also work a part time job. I am also taking care of my bunny, Misha, and my beta fish, Julian. . Between all of that, I don't have much free time. When I get a chance, I'm usually either reading or watching youtube.

> Where do you get your inspiration/How did you start writing?
Inspiration can come from anywhere. I find a lot of my inspiration from reading and watching TV. I'll see something in the plot that I don't like. I'll think to myself, "I can write this better". Other places I get ideas are dreams, daydreams, my imagination, and things I wished would happen to me. I have to say, the number one thing I find inspiration in are songs.
I've always been an avid reader. Writing came naturally to me. Stories have always captivated me. 

>When do you update/can you update (insert book here)?
I update infrequently unfortunately. I don't have a set schedule. A single chapter can take me anywhere from 4-8 hours to complete. I am really busy as well. It's not often that I have both the time and inspiration at the simultaneously. I really do try to put out as much content as realistically possible. 

>What's your favorite genre?
I love paranormal romance. You aren't restricted by the rules of physics. The possibilities are endless. I can make the main character walk on the ceiling and it wouldn't be a big deal.

>Do you have any advice for new writers?
Take your time! Writing a book is a very long process. Don't rush it. If you are worried about getting plot ideas down on paper, write an outline. It is also a great way to keep your story going in the direction you want it to go.
