Goodbye
I'm stuck in the bottom of the dark ocean,
Alone with no one to be with nor to talk to,
Alone with nothing to hear nor see,
I shout your name expecting a reply,
But all I got in return was the nature's calming lullaby,
Strange tho, the lullaby never made me calm,
It made me feel worse, made me feel more alone,
Then I realized I couldn't breathe.
So I close my eyes surrounded by silence,
Overwhelmed by nothingness and darkness,
That moment I gave up,
Once again I leave without saying goodbye.
I hate goodbyes it means I'll never see you again,
The absolute truth;I hate goodbyes,
But I hate it more when someone leaves without saying goodbye,
I hate it, but that's what I do;that's what I just did.
For the last time I shout 'goodbye',
Expecting yet another reply,
But I knew it'll never reach,
So I shut my mouth and cry silently,
Leaving me no choice but to leave,
Leaving you without saying goodbye once more.
(Okay this doesn't make sense but I didn't mean to make it with 'sense' anyway)
