@applwjvice Idk, I'm just hoping we get another. That's interesting though, I didn't know there was a director change. You're also totally right about the jokes, it really enhanced the movie for me.

@AphFan_Forever | What I have read before was that the new cinematic universe was changing directors (like whoever is in charge) and the new “boss” was going to fit the projects that weren’t “enough” for their plan, which it was most of the ongoing projects. The director of the BLUE BEETLE movie knew their project was going to get cut, so they decided to risk it and add a lot of Mexican/spanish only jokes. This, in my opinion, made the movie SO MUCH BETTER as it also targeted a broad audience that could relate to it. IDK what will happen tho, but as far as I knew, the fan base loved it a lot. Jaime Reyes is a loved comic character

@applwjvice Yeah, it was super unfortunate. I also learned that there was only gonna be a sequel if it made enough money. It’s literally the start of a new cinematic universe and didn’t get the recognition it deserved.
