Just wanted to get this out there: there’s going to be a small delay in Disremembered Tales’ next chapter because I very suddenly have had to look for a new place to live and am currently dealing with that. I should get back to writing in a week or two.

Thanks for reminding me I have an unfinished story on here… I promise to look at it over the weekend. I actually wrote the next chapter a few months ago, but there’s just something I don’t like about it that stops me from uploading it.

Yeah, it’s weird how much time has passed, it feels like only a few weeks ago since I read the last chapter.. probably cause most of the time you don’t remember most of what happened between a fond memory and the present

How’s your life been? So much time has passed since I first started writing on here that the me who is going to finish the story will be a completely different person than the one who started it and I wonder if you feel the same way about yourself.
I hate that Disremembered Tales is currently without an ending, but I will dedicate some time soon to finishing the story (there’s some crazy stuff planned). I’ve actually had the next chapter written for a few weeks now, but I don’t want to publish it until I know I can commit to coming back to this story.

Just wanted to pop in and say I’m not dead and haven’t forgotten about Disremembered Tales. I’ve tried to write the next chapter a few times and have just not been happy with the results. I am not, and will not abandon it, but the next chapter won’t be for a bit. I’m currently in college and working three jobs and I just don’t as much time as I’d like, and what time i do have is usually spent working on other writing projects (mostly because disremembered tales keeps making me frustrated because i can’t seem to write anything that doesn’t feel forced).
@ArcaneSmith take you’re time, I’m still here and no doubt others are too, we can wait, prioritise the most important things, and good to hear from you again :D

You know, if people would tell me that I have changed because I used to be a source of optimism before, and now I am too far off from the that kind of person I was, I will take that as a compliment. I wasn't use to sharing things about sadness itself—all that I could offer was comforting words like everything will be fine, and it will pass. I was skipping the phase of being down and upset, for I was a person who just bottle things up deep within me—setting it aside as if not speaking about it would mean it never existed.

Do not let the world make you hard.
Do not let the pain make you hate.
Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness.
You don’t build a vision of the past. Vision is where you are going, vision is the future you want. Only thing it requires is bold imagination, & small steps all day, every day. And, never quitting.
There's really nothing wrong in revisiting the past. At times, we all need to do it to see how far we've become, how we managed to overcome the sadness we thought would put an end to our journey. But you have to make sure that you will not stay there forever, and that you will find your way back to the present.
You deserve to be here—in the now; and there's more for you to experience, fulfill, and achieve on what's ahead.

Just wanted to give y’all a quick life update! I’m not dead and also haven’t forgotten about this account. I’ve just bitten off way more than I could chew this semester. I’m currently a part of my college’s drumline, teaching at a high school part time, auditioning for a independent winter drumline group, and am taking more classes this semester than ever before (while also trying to have some semblance of a social life). I’ve written a few little stories this semester, but don’t have the time to commit to finishing my current story. Hopefully things calm down over winter break and I can pick things back up. Hope everyone is having a good time!

Totally forgot to say something but I have have a summer job where I won’t have access to a computer/laptop for a large majority of the time. Even if I did, the place barely has any reception. Instead of stressing over making a schedule to go really out of my way to work on my current story, I’ve decided to take a break. Hope you understand and I’ll see y’all in the fall!
