Ari Faye

My name is Ari and I'm a reader, writer, geek, and faerie.

I'm almost always writing, in one fashion or another. When I say 'always' that isn't an over exaggeration. I have drafted novels at school, at nearly every job I've ever had, at Waffle House, inside various stores, and even while I was getting my hair cut. I don't really have control over it. It's a problem.

Some of my favorite authors include Neil Gaiman, Holly Black, and VE Schwab. I have entire shelves dedicated to them.

Currently I only have plans to put SANCTUARY and the related Sequel/Prequel on Wattpad. That may change depending on how well this goes. Ultimately, though, I'm still pursuing traditional publishing. Here's my current list of work:

SANCTUARY: (YA SciFi/Dystopia) Finished and posting on Wattpad.
HAVEN / SHELTER: The sequel and prequel to SANCTUARY. Drafts pending.

HEART AND SOUL: (Urban Fantasy) Magical items and warring Egyptian Deities in modern day Phoenix, AZ. First draft complete, pending edits.

FALLEN FROM FAITH: (Magical Realism) The drummer from an all female punk rock band tries to resurrect her girlfriend with necromancy and suffers the consequences. First draft complete, pending edits. Next up on the 'query with literary agents' list.

LIONHEART: (SciFi/Cyberpunk/Romance???) Far off places, daring gunfights, a prince in disguise! Two members of an elite strike team fall in love with each other while doing cyberpunk world things. In the process of first drafting.
