Arthur Daigle was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago.  He received a biology degree from UIUC, which seemed like a good idea at the time, and he's worked in such diverse fields as zoo intern and grading high school essay tests.  In addition to his writing, Arthur is an avid gardener and amateur artist.  His books were almost inevitable given that he's been a fan of fantasy and science fiction since he was old enough to walk.
