"Day in, day out, with all my immortality, all I've ever strive for is to keep this country free from discrimination and hurt from its own people. I was willing to get them angry enough at me to instill a sense of nationalism within them that would ensure their loyalty to their own kin. They'll unite to take me down, build their own government which prioritizes their own people, and then my life will be ended, either by me or the angry mob, and then the Philippines will acquire its identity.
"I had a plan.
"I was willing to give my unending life just to be a founding father of that utopia, I didn't need to be in the future, I no longer need to live. But then, a feisty soldier with a more favorable moral came along. She stunned me with her skills, blew me away with her unflinching respond to the call of duty, and shut me up with all her contemporary ideas. For the first time in my life, I wanted something more than my dreams for my country, and she wouldn't even glance my way."
