"The universe buries strange jewels deep within us all, and then stands back to see if we can find them."

This quote by Elizabeth Gilbert encouraged me and led me to this platform. You would curse her if you perceive me as a bad writer, but you would definitely agree with her if you're struggling to search that jewel, like me.

This sentence is an excerpt from her book- Big Magic. It was the book that provoked me to complete the story that I started when lockdown began. But- let me put that with another quote of her from the same book-

"If inspiration is allowed to unexpectedly enter you, it's also allowed to unexpectedly exit you."

So yes, I lost hold of the idea. It slipped away like sand from the sieve that is my mind. But I was determined to try my hand on writing, so I'm here playing with words that, I surmise, fabricate my entire existence.

Some things about me-

• I'm my own sea and my own explorer.

• Not eloquent because I'm straightforward. Lol.

• Teetering between secularism and theism, but most of the times I'm agnostic. If you ever want to have an intelligent conversation over this topic then feel free to share your thoughts with me. I repeat, an INTELLIGENT conversation.

• My inquisitiveness is what keeps me immersed in the conundrums of the universe.

• Dark Matter and The Thousand Splendid Suns are sewn to the fabric of my heart.

So let's end it with Gilbert's another quote from the same book-

"I don't yet know exactly what I am, but I'm curious enough to find out!"
