          Where the heck is this year going? Time is screaming by.

          Push will continue with (at least) weekly updates through May and into early June. 
          
          We are nearing the end now, but there's still more story to tell. There's one sub-plot element I am very, very close to dropping which is going to disappoint some readers (eek) but my Gwen needs to stay true. ❤️ 
          
          LOLA & AIDEN
          
          I'm getting closer and closer to releasing Lola & Aiden's story on Amazon. 
          
          I don't want to clog up everyone's notifications here on Wattpad, so if you're interested in the reveals --- new title, blurb, cover and release date --- I have a Facebook page you can stalk (link in my bio) and my website will go up around mid-May.

          Thanks to everyone who gave my little rom-com a chance. Lost Summer is now offline, but will be heading to Amazon later this year. 
          
          I hope the month treats you all well. To my friends in the northern hemisphere heading into summer, you cannot believe how jealous I am of you right now... LOL

I wish you luck going forward with your books. You are perfectly entitled to be protective of your work after all it is you who has put in the hard work for it and it is criminal that unscrupulous people are stealing it and financially profiting from it. To be honest I would be very happy if all the authors I am following here moved to Amazon. I will gladly pay to read the completed stories and you certainly are one of those authors

Understand completely. You should protect your work. I would buy your work if you decide to publish. Good luck with your endeavors.

          Some of you may have noticed -- or been told about -- changes happening around Wattpad. One of the changes behind the scenes impacted my Creators contract and I had some tough decisions to make. I’ll spare all the ins and outs, but essentially…
          
          Lost Summer will be unpublished from Wattpad on Saturday, 27 April 2024 (Aussie time).
          
          ** Push and More than Sorry will remain exclusive to Wattpad. **
          
          I also have some tough decisions to make about what happens after I click the complete button on Push in about two months' time.
          
          The theft some authors are experiencing gives me serious pause. I’m very protective of some of my stories and I don’t want to have to chase down unscrupulous apps who give zero stuffs about copyright laws or the sacrifices and hours writers spend preparing the content they steal. 
          
          Part of my decision will also be a creative one. I have a clear vision of the characters and stories I want to tell now, and I’m not sure Wattpad is the right place. When I re-wrote Lola and Aiden’s story for publishing, so much changed. When Lost Summer is re-written, I know it will, too. I’ll spare all my creative musings, but… the changes I want to make to my stories going forward are something I’m passionate about and want to see more of --- even if no one ever reads them. 
          
          My Wattpad journey isn’t over, but the direction is changing. I’m incredibly thankful to be part of this community, and honestly, I wish I could post here forever. Unfortunately, the universe sometimes has other plans. 
          
          TLDR: Lost Summer will be unpublished but no changes for fans of Push or More than Sorry.

Hi readers,
          
          Unfortunately, there will be no update to Push this week. I absolutely hate being unreliable in my posting schedule, but there's too much going on offline. Starting a new job. Family. Life. You know the drill. Even after a week off, I'm still puffing along without much fuel in the tank. 
          
          Updates will commence again as usual from Friday, 12 April 2024.
