Hello!
Well, what is it that you want to know?
I suppose I should talk about writing for a bit... I started writing regularly, for fun and not for school, about four years ago but I've had next to no help along the way so improvement has been slow. Despite how much I love words, I tend to have a hard time forcing them out of my mouth so I'm pretty quiet in real life. I'm the friend that gets called the grammar-Nazi but I'm actually rubbish at most aspects of grammar so I'm a little confused as to where the nickname came from.

I tend to read a lot of fantasy-adventure and school-based stories but I really struggle with writing them myself. Especially since the only education system I've ever experienced is weird and not really the same as anywhere else in the world. Still, you can read my attempts at fantasy, school-y and a few other strange things I've written over the last four years here.

I live in Canberra, which is the capital of Australia. It's actually a really tiny city, sometimes called the Bush Capital, with less than half a million people and not much to do unless you have an overwhelming desire to visit a museum every day of your life. I thought I'd try and get out as soon as possible and go somewhere actually fun but here I am, stuck at home in my parents house doing a Bachelor of Writing at the University of Canberra. So it looks like I'll be stuck in sleepy Canberra for a while yet...

Current Literary Loves:
Terry Pratchett, Phillip Pullman, James Maloney, Melina Marchetta, Jacky French, Agatha Christie, Carole Wilkinson, Douglas Adams, Cornelia Funke, John Steinbeck, Craig Silvey (though I've only read Jasper Jones so this is a rather ill-informed love)... and anything else you can find on my bookshelf.
Currently reading: The Long Earth -- Terry Pratchett and Stephen Baxter
