Life has been busy but I'm sure you already know that! Any updates on Incipience becoming a book? Lots of authors start out here but don't publish the last chapters because their book is getting published and I want to be first in line to purchase!           I'm publishing two books: "The Psyche Behind Sci-Fi: the Power of Point of View" (April 21) and "Incipience" (August 21). I just started the presale for "POV"  this weekend, and, quite frankly, I desperately need presales and donations because I need to raise $5k in a month in order to launch my book. Beyond the fact that I don't want my first book to be a total flop, I need it to be quasi successful because I'm using the funds from "POV" to fund "Incipience" in a few months. "POV" is only available in ebook and paperback format because it was the cheapest option, and I'm ✨a broke college student ✨ trying to minimize my potential losses if this goes belly up. Incipience Announcement!
          
          Hey guys! For those of you who saw the announcement I posted a few weeks ago, you know that I’m currently working on a long term research project and I’m excited to let you know what it is! This Spring I am publishing a book about the effect of POV on the sci-fi reading experience. My working (and ever-changing) title is “The Psyche Behind Sci-Fi: the Power of Point of View” and it dives into the technicalities of POV and how it has the ability to shape a text. Now, I know you’re wondering “what does this have to do with Incipience?” so let me quell your curiosity: this book will be based on Incipience. I’m taking my favorite scenes from the book and giving readers an example of the different POV styles and break down of how changing the book’s POV can alter the ways readers perceive what’s happening to the characters based on the excerpts’ narration style. I’ll be including details that aren’t in Incipience (and won’t be until I publish the novel since I’ve purposefully omitted information to give you all an incentive to buy it upon the revision) so you’ll be learning more about my world-building process and my characters’ lives by purchasing my POV book.
