Hey everyone! It has been a long while, and I apologize for that. Unfortunately I cannot make any promises on returning like I used to, but I might start coming back to write more frequently. Again, not a promise but I'm going to push myself to search for inspiration more.

On that note, I have some big news released by Funimation in regards to Fruits Basket. They are apparently going to be releasing a complete reboot of Fruits Basket to capture the entire story instead of how the original anime left off. This will be coming some time in 2019, but nothing too much has been released. Not much is known other than they are planning a reboot, nor is it informed when the English version will be released and so forth. It is said the original Japanese cast is being redone, and personally I find the English voice actors too iconic and I really can't imagine anyone else playing them up to par. That's about it. Again, not much is known than that but be prepared for a new, in-depth reboot of the beloved anime! I'm excited and I hope they don't let us down! <3

Awe, thanks so much! :) I've actually heard of that one, but I shall look into it and put it on my list momentarily! I don't particularly care about the cursing now since I'm around it every day unfortunately lol. I've heard good things about it and will definitely try to watch it soon. I'm happy I was able to be of assistance :)

Fruits Basket: Okay, now this one is both rather violent and has a lot of cursing coming from one of the main male protagonists, however I advise you to overlook it in this case. Fruits Basket is probably my absolute favorite romance/slice of life anime, and the violence and cursing all come with good reason and traumatic pasts that the characters don't have too much control over. I have been in love with this series for around 7 years, and I still remember every episode because it is worth the time. I wasn't too big on cursing when I first watched the show, but the plot was entirely too amazing that overlooking it only seemed fair. Trust me this is an anime worth watching despite the violence and cursing. Now, the violence isn't too violent as it doesn't show a lot of gore, and the you only see one scene with a whole lot of blood. The only other scene with blood is just a tiny drop. And the violence isn't too bad- the kids just know martial arts, so it's not like they are out to kill one another.

But those are my suggestions, and I hoped they helped! I think violence and swearing are what keep more types of viewers interested so it'll be almost impossible to find many series without it, but with these series the violence is because those particular characters are trained in martial arts and are protecting something important to them. Very minimal bloodshed in these series, apart from the one episode in Fruits Basket, but we don't exactly see the impact that caused the blood so it should be okay! I really highly recommend these all, but my bias will always be towards Fruits Basket and Ouran High Schook Host Club the most. The others though are no slackers, and have more romantic potential than both Fruits Basket and Ouran because their relationships are further explored in their manga.

I personally haven't seen this one, but I hear that Clannad (and Clannad After Story) are absolutely all about the romance. Unlike in Ouran, this is all about the romance and life so love isn't just teased in our faces. I've seen the first episode and I can't recall if there is swearing, but if anything it'll be instigated by a friend (lol).
Plastic Memories: Agh I need to find time to finish watching this! I don't remember if there was violence, but I highly doubt it since it is more of a romance/slice of life anime about creatures similar to androids but more human than ever. It probably won't be too much of a shocking anime, but it still has a strong emotional connection to us.

Kimi no Na Wa (Your Name): This anime is actually a movie, but this is by far one of the saddest things I have ever gotten myself into! I don't recall there being any violence or cursing, but if anything it'll be yelling out in rage over the situation at hand. By far a great movie about love that you can't miss out on!

Hey there! :) While I unfortunately don't watch as much anime as I would like since I need time to recuperate after a show, I don't have too much to go on, but I do have some recommendations!

Ouran High School Host Club is absolutely amazing. It hints at romance the entire time while being a comedy following the reverse harem theme the entire time. The violence in there is very minimum, as this is more based on the comedic, solemn side. It does have the friendly violence/rivalry between one another, and only a few episodes show violence (but there is no gore, and the fighting is over momentarily). Overall it's a great show and definitely worth watching!
