Azka Wajeed is an average Maldivian who tries her hand at writing after someone complimented her short story in 7th grade. An avid reader from a young age, she loves any story that gives her an adventure with either a psychological twist, a hint of good romance, a pinch of humor, a head-scratching mystery, or a dash of magic. She enjoys reading books that later keep her awake at night. 

When she isn't inciting chaos on her fantasy world of Eméjin, or cooking up psychologically dramatic mysteries in her head, Azka can be found on her bed or by the nearest table studying. Often, you may catch her praying to Allah (SWT) for good grades. After all, she is still a student with dreams of pursuing medicine as a career. 

Reading and writing aside, Azka has a passion for dessert making and can be seen furiously whipping up pancakes or cheesecake batter. She also likes binging on Netflix, although her attention never lasts too long. She is the sibling who guesses the plot, and the one who cries during fictional breakups. 

Azka wishes to see her books published in the future, and (maybe) daydreams of some of them getting movie adaptations. She hopes to gift her readers with the stories she writes. She is inspired by figures like Enid Blyton, Chris Colfer, John Grisham, Holly Jackson, Leigh Bardugo and Rick Riordan - who first motivated her to start writing.
