So... Y'all know how most people if they get trauma at a young age it will be completely, or mostly blocked out of their memory?
Well when my mom divorced my dad she got in a new relationship with a guy named Bill, and yesterday me and my dad were talking about him. I told him he wasn't abusive because the worst I remember is being hit with a wooden paddle (which apparently is abuse?) but he said that I would come home with bruises and handprints around my neck from Bill throwing me around.
I have no memory of this ever happening, but I was like 4-6 so I don't think I'd remember it anyway.
