HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

Hi there! Thx for voting and commenting on my book. I hope you liked it so far :)

I honestly don't know how to handle people anymore....
          So heres what happened: 
          My Mom walked both my sister and I to the KFC just down the street, and they were walking insanely slow like usual. I stopped a couple of times to check and make sure they were still there, and the entire duration of the walk, my sister won't shut up. 
          
          We eventually make it to the KFC, and there's this long line. We try to reach the end and there's this guy who appears to be homeless was making crazy gestures and was indirectly asking people for money. My Mom was next to me on her phone and texted my Dad telling him that the guy is shaking people down for money. 
          
          It caused him to storm all the way down to the KFC and causes a scene. He was shouting at the guy and my Mom is trying to get him to stop. I closed my eyes and covered my face. I'd never been so embarrassed in my whole life. 
          
          The entire time after the guy had left, my Dad went and sat down but he wouldn't stop. I stepped out of line to make sure that he wouldn't do anything stupid. As soon as I sit down next to him, he continues to go off on a tangent about the whole thing. He puts his phone on a high level of volume and plays a clip from 300. It continued like that until our order was ready and we were leaving the KFC. 
          
          As soon as we had gotten home both of my parents yelled at each other. They didn't care how it affected me or my sister, all they cared about was getting their point across, talking over each other, and getting the final word in. 
          
          Though things died down, it will never be the same for me. 

I just got done watching Endgame. I am both happy and feeling hollow. Someone who has already seen the movie please PM me. I'd like to scream out what my feelings.

I HELD A SNAKE!!! 
          IT FELT OUR CONNECTION! 
          Okay, so my science teacher got a lady to come in and show her animals to the class. I won't go into too much detail, but I will tell you that before class was over I was finally able to hold the snake. 
          When I held him, he immediately coiled around my neck and refused to let go. And then once my time was up he refused to go to the next person and he freaking HISSED at them. 
          I've never felt a better connection.

          So I've been thinking, and I've come to the conclusion that the reason why the stories I've written have come to a violent stop is because I don't have a beta.
          I would really like a Beta with at least some college experience to help show me what is wrong and how I can fix it.
