 So the story I was making for April Fools is finally done, and it pretty much took the entire month of April. Lol. That’s what happens when you get an idea a few days before the deadline.
          
          
          Anyway, this is my first comedy focused story, and I hope you all enjoy it! It ended up three times longer than I expected it to be, so it’s a decently sized.
          
          I also decided to split it all up into chapters. But chapter length is all over the place, so get ready for a lot of inconsistency when it comes to how long each of them are.
          
          It’s a grand total of over 15,000 words. So enjoy!

So remember on my last update when I said the story is almost done?
          
          It was not lol. It’s twice as long as I expected it to be. It’s not done yet, and it’s already over 11,000 words.
          
          
          So I’ve come to ask: would y’all prefer if it were broken up into several chapters, or if it was just published all at once? Which would make it easier to read?

          I meant to publish something yesterday in April Fools, but it’s not done yet :( But it’s almost done.
          
          It’s a first for this account technically. But it’s my first comedy focused fanfic!
          
          It’s only one chapter, so it won’t be too long. So keep your eyes peeled for it!

          First few months of 2024 have been hectic already (in a positive way thankfully) so I haven’t had much time to write. That said, I’ve been finding time to do so lately!
          
          As for updates, the next thing I’ll update is Corrupted Dreams, as I haven’t worked on it in a while. Eyes of Truth will still be a short series that I’ll continue writing, but it will not be the next update.
          
          Also, I’ve been playing Dark Souls recently. It’s definitely earned it’s reputation as a hard game, but it’s honestly not as bad as I was expecting. And I grew up hearing that it’s one of those games only masochists play.
           Why do I bring this up?
           Other than say that it’s about as hard as BotW and TotK for those interested, I apparently beat an infamous boss yesterday and I want to brag about it.

          A while back I wrote a one-shot BotW/TotK fanfic that was meant to be part of an anthology…but then the second story of the planned anthology ended up as its own mini story, soooooo…this one was kinda just archived and left unpublished.
          
          
          So as a little present, I decided to publish it! I hope you all enjoy.

          I do have to give a word of caution for this one though: I’m very much considering marking my work as “Mature” because of this. I’ve added a trigger warning for graphic descriptions of violence at the beginning of the chapter as a result.
           Admittedly, I don’t think the descriptions themselves are too bad. However, it nonetheless is more intense than my usual stuff. I’ll let y’all be the judge of that.

Hello all!
          
          Today, I’m debuting what’s going to be a shorter story, “Eye of Truth.” Unlike my past works, this one is based on Ocarina of Time!
          
          It’s still going to be a decent length, but it’s not going to be as long as something like Blighted Memories or Corrupted Dreams (which is still being worked on.) At minimum, 8 chapters are planned, each about 3,000-4,000 words in length. 
          
          It’s partially to experiment with a new style of pacing…and partially a Halloween story (that will be finished late)…
          
          …And partially a story about my favorite location in the entire series. So I hope you enjoy!
          
          …Also note this announcement went up before officially publishing anything, so if you see this within a few seconds of me posting it…just wait a bit…it’ll be awesome, I swear…

          While I don’t have an update, I do have news. For a bit of experimentation, I’ve written a shorter Zelda story that I  WAS gonna upload today in celebration of my favorite holiday of the year…
          
          …But it’s only half done. That said, I’ll upload the first half sometime tomorrow. I just made it to that halfway mark, but I’m too tired and don’t wanna edit right now lol. 
          
          So stay tuned for a story based on my favorite location in the entire series…where lies Hyrule’s bloody history of greed and hatred…
