Hey, kinda weird question. What‘s a favorite quote of yours? One of mine is „A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. A man who never reads lives only one.“ from George R. R. Martin. I can‘t tell you what book it‘s from, but I know it‘s said by a character named Jojen.

@BeastiesandAutomata For me it's "If you give up that's a chance for me to keep going" I messed it up but oh well- its from 7 deadly sins

Oh! So a few months ago I shared one of my short stories with my English teacher and she finally got around to reading it! I walked into class today and she turns to me and goes „Oh! I read your story! I loved it!“. I‘m so happy!

I was talking with a sibling about ghosts, when another sibling mentioned „Something in my stomach just curled up and died.“. Without missing a beat, I said „You have a stomach?“. My first sibling instantly responded „You don‘t?“. To which I replied „By all accounts I should have one, but we don‘t always get what we want now do we.“.

So a while back, my english teacher reprimanded me for my spelling of „realized“. It turns out „realised“ is the more European spelling and we „don‘t do it that way in America.“ What‘s next, it‘s „hospital“ not „hospitol“?

@BlueberryCafe Interesting! You are the first person I‘ve known to use the two interchangeably.
