I was born in Venezuela but educated in the United States. Although I don't consider myself "Americanized" I don't identify with the typical Venezuelan. In my struggle to find my place in each culture I am constantly struck by their differences and in time have become increasingly interested in the changing roles women play in Latin American society and the space they find to communicate with each other. This is just my interpretation.
