Everyone starts of somewhere. I, Becky Albright, just didn't start off somewhere pleasing. I was born with a deformity in my right knee and right side hip, due to that I have to have a cane. Due to that cane,my aid in walking, I was picked on. The bullies called me cripple, odd, and various other names. They would push, hit and bash me, bully me relentlessly everyday, I was an outcast. All through school and even in university where I studied law.
One day, The Scarecrow gassed my neighbourhood with his toxins. I survived, many didn't, I knew it was my time to be a hero. I testified against him, he came after me.
I thought I would die.
But I didn't, The batman saved me, the very same hero I would soon learn to despise.
The Scarecrow struck again not long after, but that time instead of making an attempt to kill me, he asked me to join him. He asked me to become his Mistress of Fear. He confessed we were the same, I had never felt so accepted in all my existence. He conjured in my mind the vision of getting all my bullies back, making them writhe in fear at my very feet.
I accepted, and here I am now. I am the mistress of fear, the Queen of Despair, and you will cower before my Lord and I.
