We read to understand others, but we write to understand ourselves.

My favourite writers are Stephen King and Michael Crichton - probably because I love stories that take something familiar and slowly make you question what is real, possible, or safe.

I write mostly psychological romance, with a strong interest in trauma, relationships, difficult choices, and the things people hide from each other - and from themselves.

Recently, I've also stepped into the paranormal world. But my stories usually aren't the kind of paranormal/horror that simply makes you want to curl up in fear. I like connecting the supernatural to real life. Sometimes the strange thing in the room isn't there just to frighten us - sometimes it is a warning about our choices, our relationships, or something we have been refusing to see.

I love experimenting with genres and seeing what happens when they overlap: psychological fiction, romance, paranormal, horror, mystery, and speculative fiction.

I believe small details matter.
