Hmmm...

So I've come across an interesting development while I was drafting out the rest of the chapters of TYWY these past couple of weeks. But before that, I have two things to clarify.

The first thing is that the original story that I accidentally lost a couple of months ago actually came back to me after a couple of weeks. It was still like how I've kept it in the past 3 years, glitched and out of order.

The second thing is that my phone fixed itself somehow after being left on a shelf for almost a month. However, because it was left on a shelf for almost a month, there was dust accumulating on the motherboard and that broke which left me with barely being able to see my screen.

Now, I've gotten a cheap replacement for my phone a couple of days after the unfortunate event and while it did came with its own series of problems, I've managed to somehow make it work for my purposes, more or less.

Today however, as I was truthfully opening the Library for the first time on this new but old phone in search of the original story so I can do my work, I noticed that the order of the chapters were... odd.

I mean, it was always odd due to being a glitch that shouldn't have existed after Wattpad's subsequent annihilation of the story, but this was different because the order of the chapters was almost as if the story was intact.

Because the order was following my presumptive index (a list of the chapters that I've arranged in about as coherent manner as I could make it) that I had laid out when I first started out on this project.

What I'm basically saying is that I might have just stumbled upon the actual, original chapter order of the original TYWY. I've been crossreferencing it with my own index to check for coherency and consistency and it actually checks out.

While this is quite the discovery (for me at least), this also sucks a bit since it's making me review the whole damn story for the umpteenth time to figure out how to keep the story cohesive.

          	Sigh...

How did you remaster the entire “The Years with You” book...

Did you do it by memory or is it archived somewhere?

Leco__

Ahh, gotcha.

@ExmzHokimai I have a glitched profile of the story that's stuck in my Library and forever bound here after the story's initial disappearance.

Think of it as a story that you saved to your personal Library but when the story is removed, deleted or essentially wiped from existence, it still stays there for some reason but with some glitches and typos.

I try to restore this story through both memory and a sort of archive. I remember most bits and pieces of the story due to the different arcs it went through but that alone isn't enough to cover the rest that I don't fully remember, so I reviewed every chapter and find out which one fits where to make it coherent enough.

After that was all and done did I considered publishing it early this year.

Ah, I've wrote a good long post for this announcement before I fked up and hit Alt+Left. Man, I'm drained but I digress.

Chapter 13 is now up, in case you didn't notice and I forgot to mention in my last post that we've entered the second arc of the story. This arc is pretty interesting to write as much as it is a handful.

The fact that my phone decided to self-destruct on me wasn't helping either. It started restarting over and over again yesterday until it drained its power. The issue still persists after I've recharged it so that's unusable. If you've seen the most recent chapter, you'd definitely notice the lack of paragraph spacing that I usually employ in previous chapters to mentally split the scenes better.

This is because I did that on the mobile app editor since the web version is a little different in certain aspects. Suffice to say that I might not be using that feature anymore.

Now, I'm purely editing a story on PC, which might look a little ugly for mobile users since I can't visually assess the size for you guys anymore. Sorry.

Anyways, I hope you can still enjoy the new chapter and I welcome you to the Significance Arc.

Ahh, I've finally regained some peace of mind for actually getting a chapter done and ready. This particular chapter has been a mess to write given that it's the opening of the second arc of the story and intros are extra important so I wanted it to be as perfect as I could make it. I'd say that it's satisfying enough to be published now.

I wasn't lying when I said that I had a copy ready. I still miss the original story that I accidentally burned away but the copy's enough for the writing purposes as it is.

I'm sorry that I didn't write for a while. I was going through a pretty rough time so inspirations for writing wasn't at the top of my head at the moment. I'm feeling a little better and relieved now in this moment of respite.

I'm still going through some stuffs, but hopefully I can keep restoring at least one chapter per week.

Thanks for reading if you did.

          I appreciate it.

I intend to. When life stops being so hectic.

It's been a quite rough couple of months, if I'm being honest.
