I was once told that I say rather random things that have no meaning or relevance to life that will not develop me as a person; to that I need to say that every idea you have was inspired by something that is inside of you wanting to be noticed. 
This is something I can't wrap my head around; being inspired to do something doesn't need to be interpreted as being 'weak' and 'childish'. People who put themselves in a position where they are vulnerable to the opinions of others are they people we need to celebrate; they let one of their little random ideas grow and bloom into something that has the potential to change a life. 
Becoming inspired is harder than letting an idea grow, which makes it even harder for me to believe people would 'kill' such a precious thing, without a chance. 
If you are determined and prepared to cry in the 'battle' to allow inspiration to grow within you; people will take notice of your courage and are more likely to stand by a 'strong' leader other that a 'unsure' one. 
Brush off others negativity and stay true to the reason you decided to let the inspiration illuminate from your 'cage' that is your perfect little mind.
