I have been through abuse and trauma. I wish to spread awareness about this, please if you have been through something similar know that you are not only a survivor but also a thriver and you are a wonderful light in this world! If you have a friend who has been through it the best thing you can do is to be there for them and never blame them for what happened to them, it is never the victim's fault, not ever! It is always and only the abuser's fault. Believe us, that is what we need.
