The Bible tells us we must be bold for Christ and we must love others. But what exactly does that mean? English only has one word for love but there are four different types of love: 
eros(romantic), 
storge(family, friendship) agape(unconditional, sacrificial), and philia(platonic, brotherly). 
So which one does it mean? I believe it means agape love, which can be translated as unconditional or sacrificial love. If you love someone unconditionally you will do anything for them, so why would you not tell them about Christ? Your excuse might be you are to shy, don't have enough courage, or boldness. What does the Bible say about that? 

"For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self control."-2 Timothy 1:7

2 Corinthians 3:12 says, "Having therefore such a hope, we use great boldness of speech."-2 Corinthians 3:12

Agape love is also sacrificial love, you might have to sacrifice what people think of you in order to love them like the Bible tells us to.
