Once Upon a Time -- isn't that how all great stories start? Once upon a time, I was an elementary school teacher who loved sharing the joy of reading and writing with my awesome students. But one day, I was bit hard by the bug of an idea for a series of my own. I left the classroom behind and joined the crazy, joy-filled writing world.

Now I run my own business, play with and educate my beautiful little girl, Little Goose, and write books for young adults that can be enjoyed by everyone.

The first seven books in my original fantasy series, The Dusk Gate Chronicles, are now for sale wherever e-books are sold., and in paperback at a number of online retailers. 

Currently, I am working on a new, original story, a "retelling" of Rumpelstiltskin re-imagined from a different point of view. Rumpelstiltskin's Daughter releases early fall 2014.
