Great writers use vivid descriptions to transport readers to places charming, romantic, exciting, and entertaining. I am not a great writer. Nor do I plan to be one. I am an engineer. I read and write for fun. I like stories that are humorous, interesting, suspenseful, thought provoking and full of unexpected twists. I strive to write that type.

I like to think I write for other writers, especially talented writers. I believe many have found my works. If you are looking for great writers, my list of friends/followers is a great place to start.

I've posted ten mostly fictional tales and two nonfiction memoirs.

My first post was a trilogy: Sharing Afflictions (97,000 words), For What It's Worth (61,000 words), and Time of Your Life (57,000 words). They follow an unlikely group of twenty somethings, sorting out romantic entanglements, and unraveling adventure laden mysteries.

My first collections of short stories is Joe's Bar and Grill (31,000 words). Its sequel is Another Cup of Joe (18,000 words). Other shorts include Another Christmas Carol(3,000 words) and Frosty (4300 words). all of these focus on the patrons of Joe's bar. .

Meet At Joe's (25,000 words) brings together the characters from the trilogy and Joe's bar in a comedy of errors with many twists.

Mystery Man (2700 words) is a locked room mystery, just for fun.

The first memoir is a short and hopefully humorous stream of unconsciousness called Pretty Sure I'm Dead (11,000 words). The second more traditional one is Stories from Under a Bootheel (39,000 words).

My newest book is Vision Quest (51,700 words)A unique tale told by the Coyote from Frosty and Roger from Sharing Afflictions. It is my only work rated Mature.

Please vote and comment so I can know what has been read and what you think of it. You will want to read the comments left by others. I have a lot of very clever and entertaining readers.

Thanks for reading and as always, stay hopeful and kind.
